Announced in February this year at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, LG Optimus L5 Smartphone is equipped with a Qualcomm MSM7225A chipset with a single core CPU Cortex A5 at 800 MHz, RAM 512 MB, 4-inch HVGA resolution and a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash. The operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is installed by default.
The memory device is limited to 4 GB, of which the user can use only 2.5 GB. However, the problem is solved by a slot for memory cards microSD, which can increase the total amount of internal memory to 32 GB. With dimensions of 118.3 mm x 66,5 mm x 9,5 mm, the smart phone weighs just 125 grams.
The first LG Optimus L5 Smartphone will be Germany, France, UK, Middle East and other Asian countries. Later, the LG Optimus L5 Smartphone will be in North, Central and South America.
The German representative on-line retailer Amazon evaluates Optimus L5 in 189 euros. It is expected that closer to release LG Optimus L5 Smartphone price down even lower.
